A good 5-sp manual OD tranny to swap would be the ZF-series (S or S) from a F-series truck with the W motor. Both 2WD and 4WD vesions were offered, and the 4WD ones are a bit hard to find. It's possible to convert a 2WD one as well. One of the members here did the ZF swap in their Bronco, maybe they'll post up or you'll find them thru search. I'm trying to swap a Windsor that is built and bored out to and also throwing a 78mm turbo on her. I'm having trouble finding a manual transmission that could be put into the Stang and hold up to that much power, throw me some ideas y'all!!!!!!!!!!!. Posts. #13 · (Edited) Only show this user.
